A Rancher for Rosie (The Duggans of Montana #2) Blog Tour +Reviews

Author: +Molly Wishlade
Title: A Rancher for Rosie
Series: The Duggans of Montana
Number in series: #2
Publisher: Totally Bound

He finished unbuttoning Rosie’s housedress and gently pushed the material apart. His heart thundered at what he saw. His cock hardened and his mouth dried up. A thin cotton chemise covered her breasts and her dark nipples showed through the thin material.
“Oh Rosie.”
“Joshua. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing is wrong sweetheart. It’s just…you’re so beautiful. I want you so much.”
“I want you too, my love.”
She sat up and he smiled at the hay caught in her hair. Her eyes shone, her lips were red and slightly parted. She didn’t appear innocent right now with her dress gaping and her come-to-bed gaze.
She shrugged her arms out of her dress and pushed it to her waist then knelt and took his hands in hers. “Do you want to continue?”
“Yes.”
“Then do.”
She placed his fingers on the lacing of her corset and helped him to undo the bow.
His fingers shook as he loosened the laces until he could free her from the restrictive undergarment. She lifted her arms and he slipped it over her head. If she was nervous then she wasn’t letting it show. Her sudden confidence aroused him further because it convinced him that she wanted him, that it was acceptable to do this here and now.
Joshua dropped the corset on the hay then returned his gaze to her. Through the white cotton, he could make out the perfect orbs of her breasts. He had fondled them before, shyly, over her clothing but never seen them naked. Now he would.
He reached trembling hands towards the woman he loved but stopped before he actually touched her.
“This is what I want, Joshua.”
“It is?”
Rosie leaned forward so that her breasts pushed into his hands. Full. Round. Warm. Soft.
“Stand up. I need to get this dress off you.” His voice was husky, so low that it was barely audible.
She did as he commanded and he tugged the dress down. She stood before him in just her chemise and stockings. He helped her out of her boots then rested his hands on the hot smooth skin of her thighs. As if reading his thoughts, Rosie slid down to her knees which meant that his hands pushed the flimsy material of her chemise up. He gasped as her upper thighs were revealed to him. No bloomers. The blood rushed through his head and he took deep gulps of air for a moment to steady himself.
When the spots had stopped dancing before his eyes, he eased Rosie onto her back again and nudged her legs apart. At the edge of the white undergarment, he could make out the shadow of dark hair which covered her sex. It took all of his strength not to whip out his cock and thrust into her instantly. But he wouldn’t do that to her. This was Rosie. The woman he adored. The woman he wanted to love and protect all his days. The fact that she had such an effect on him could only be a good thing. Not only did he love her, but desire her too. He would be gentle, tender, take things slowly.

Savor this precious moment. Their first time.

My Review
This is the second book in this series; I recommend that you read them in order.  This book focuses on Rosie, Kenan’s twin sister.  Rosie is on the older side for the time period of the book to be unmarried.  Joshua Hampton is a friend of her brother’s and they do cattle runs together.  That is how Rosie met him and he was shy at first.  She was unsure if he was interested in her or just being friendly to a friend’s sister.  Joshua likes Rosie he just needed to become comfortable around her, he was afraid to make a fool of himself in front of her.  Joshua worked up the courage and asked Rosie out.  They have been dating but his parents don’t like Rosie.  It’s not so much that they don’t like Rosie it just that they want someone else, someone younger that Rosie for their son.  Joshua is 7 years younger than Rosie.  The age difference doesn’t matter to him, he loves Rosie and wants to marry her.  The only reason he hasn’t is because his father has been sick lately and he doesn’t want to upset his father making his condition worse.  Joshua’s father is known for his temper.  Will Joshua work up the courage once again where is concerns Rosie or will he let his parents determine his future?  Rosie just wants what is best for Joshua, so she makes some decisions that have more repercussions then she ever imagined.  Will everything work out for Rosie and her rancher?  I felt so bad for Rosie; the only man who has ever really paid any attention to her is holding her in limbo.  Joshua loves for with all his heart however he can’t seem to overcome the need to please his father.  Will he have waited too long to make up his mind about what to do? Kenan and Catherine as well as their other siblings make an appearance in this book as well.  I am excited for the next book in this series to come out.  Molly has been added to my authors to watch.  She writes a story that pulls you in and makes feel for the characters.

Come and Get Your Love Blog Tour

Title: Come and Get Your Love
Author: Tina Donahue
Hosted by: Beautiful Promotions

Their desire wasn’t supposed to be real…

With millions willed to her in an incentive trust, Lissa can get the dough to start her own country music label when she meets one of the no-contest clauses. Namely, reach middle age in twenty years, work in the hated family business for a decade, or marry someone not in the music biz.
Marriage it is, at least for a year to satisfy her greedy brother who wants the inheritance.

Enter Cass, a hot Texas rancher who dampens Lissa’s panties. With a pile of medical bills from his brother’s accident, Cass agrees to wed Lissa. She’s sweet to look at, surprisingly pleasant for an Atlanta debutante, and makes his jeans feel tight as hell despite their no-sex contract.

Uh-huh. The devil’s in the details. Longing gazes turn to tender intimacy and wild nights with pretend feeling all too real.

Damn shame it may be too late with her brother gunning for them both.

My Review of The Hysterics by Kristen Hope Mazzola

The HystericsThe Hysterics by Kristen Hope Mazzola
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love Kristen Hope Mazzola and everything she writes, this book is no different. Fae Dunham used to Fallon Dunbar; she was a drummer for a punk rock band. Then she woke up in hospital from on overdose and realized she needed to start over or she was going to die. She when she got the chance that is exactly what she did. She had a huge secret now and she needed to keep that secret in order to really take advantage of this second chance. She needed to figure out who is wanted to be and how to go about being that person. She needed to be alone or at least that is what until she meets Dane. Dane was completely taken by Fae the first time he saw her and he wanted to get to know her. Fae never realized that she was so lonely until she meets Dane. Maybe he is just what she needed to really start over. Someone to make her feel like herself and be this new version of herself. Dane loves her for who she really is inside not for her name and what being connected to her will get him. She has never felt like this before and neither has he. Dane has things from his own past that he is still dealing with. Maybe together they can truly heal and move forward. This book was fantastic. Fallon is so hard on herself and feels like she doesn’t deserve Dane and his love. No one has ever really been there for her. Her life growing up wasn’t great and she still doesn’t really have a relationship with her mother. Dane shows her what life can really be like with love and friends. Without even realizing it Fallon is helping Dane as well. I would love to read more about the other guys in the band and find out their stories. I always look forward for the next book by Kristen and will continue to do so.

My Review of Irresistible Revenge by AJ Harmon

Irresistible RevengeIrresistible Revenge by A.J. Harmon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a fantastic, steamy, quick read. Imagine your husband calling you and telling you that he was having an affair. This book tells a story of just one way it could turn out. This book had me laughing out loud. The lead female character is surprisingly calm while be told by her husband that he is cheating. There is lots of sarcasm on her part. I was mad for her. This book is steamy and funny. Instead of being devastated by the news of a cheating spouse she finds herself liberated. Realizing that she settled and now she doesn’t have to anymore. There are some fantastic one liners in this book. I love these new shot books by AJ. Look forward to more of them in the future. Great job AJ.

My Review of Chicago - a shot to the heart changes everything by AJ Harmon

Chicago - a shot to the heart changes everythingChicago - a shot to the heart changes everything by A.J. Harmon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was fantastic. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. There was danger, romance, suspense and more. There is a lot of back and forth between Mia and Alex. They are both interested in each other but Mia has doubts about starting anything with him. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina and she lives in Chicago. Alex doesn’t want to pressure her into anything but isn’t scared to tell her how he feels. Neither has ever really been in a serious relationship. He wants to be there for her but to him it’s clear she doesn’t want the same thing. Alex is also runs the family business and takes care and his mother who isn’t well. Mia has always wanted to be a detective. Who should move, who should uproot their life? This book was so sad at times. With Mia and Alex trying to figure out what if anything was going on with them. Alex’s mother’s declining health. I think Alex’s mother helps them bond more. Alex’s sister Charlie and her kids are great and funny. Mia learns what is important to her and what she can do without. She discovers that she can be a cop anywhere. Does she want to stay in Chicago and further her career or does she want to go to Charleston and be with the man she loves and be a cop? This book was fantastic and another hit for AJ Harmon. I love her and her books.

My Review of A Kingpin Love Affair by J.L. Beck

A Kingpin Love Affair (The Complete Series 1-5)A Kingpin Love Affair by J.L. Beck
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book set is fantastic and a must read. Every book draws you and you don’t want to put it down. The writing is fantastic and so are the characters. There is love, danger, self-discovery, and more in each book. It starts with Alzerro taking Bree to pay for her father’s debt. Alzerro is the Mafia King and takes whatever he wants and does whatever needs to be done. He never thought one girl would change his life but she does. Then Alzerro learns something about himself how much love can change a person. She was just a debt never meant to be anything more than that but she is. She has the blood of his enemy running through her veins how could she ever be anything more than that. Will Alzerro be able to change and be more than he ever has been? Will he and Bree be able to find a balance and truth? In the third book you get to read about Devon and found out his story. Devon had once loved someone so much that he hurt her to free her. She could be so much more if he didn’t tie her down with his problems or at least that was what Devon though and lead him to make the decision to do what he did. He learns just how wrong he was and now has a second chance. Will he be able to fix things or will he just make them worse? In the 4th book we get to finally read about Jared. Jared is a broken man. He clings to a past where he was hurt. If he doesn’t let anyone else in he can’t be hurt. Jared learns just how much better things can be while protecting Isabella for Alzerro. Finally in the 5th book a novella we get to focus in again on Alzerro and Bree. They have settled into normally family life. They are married, have a daughter, and Bree is pregnant again. But is all this normally too boring for Bree? She wants the old Zerro back; he ruthless one, who took what he wanted. But, does she really want that version of Zerro back or she just worried about not being enough for him and him getting bored with their life together? I can’t say enough about how great this series is. You are taken on this great journey with these fantastic characters. Frankly I am sad that it is over and want more books with these characters.
