GOODREADS

After my scumbag of a boyfriend cheats on me, my plan is simple.
1. Run away to college.
2. Find a remedy for this heartache because it’s not found in ice-cream, contrary to popular belief.

The plan is perfect.

Until a conversation with my crazy roommate, that starts with staying fit and ends with a search for healthy penises, results in me accidentally enrolling us in a kizomba dance class because of the aforementioned quest.

#InsertSwearWordHere
#SwearingHelps

Our dance instructor, Remi, turns out to be a condescending jerk, who enjoys making me squirm under his smoking, amber gaze. When he starts calling me “darling” in that low, husky voice, my dreams turn a little dirty.

#HeartEyesEmoji

But just when I think things are getting better, I find out that sexy Remi has his own secrets …

#NotPartofThePlan

Revised plan:
1. Avoid the enigmatic dance instructor.
2. Repeat step one over, and over, and over again.

This should be easy, right?

This is the first book by Aisling that I have read and I loved it. Kaci is starting college and getting ready to start over. She goes to sign herself and her roommate up for some Zumba classes but accidently signs them up for kizomba classes instead. They can’t get their money back or switch classes. Plus, her traitress roommate says she is going when they see the instructor. Remi is quite the looker. This book had me laughing one minute and catching the feels the next. Remi has more going that Kaci realizes. Kaci has been burned by her last boyfriend and doesn’t want to take a chance just yet. Plus, her father has told her, her whole life that dancing is a waste of time. Her mother loves to dance though. Kaci discovers a lot about herself and what she wants in this book. This book is great short read. I would love to read more about these characters in the future. Great job Aisling.

But with his promotion fast approaching, he has no time for distractions - until Tessa crashes into him in a shower of glitter, wreaking havoc with his plans and his heart.

With a temper as fiery as her red hair, she's a distraction too tempting to ignore.

Tessa is determined to resist Parker's charms - even if his smile makes her toes curl. He's only on the island for five days, and she won't risk a broken heart. But with the festival in full swing, resisting Parker is proving harder than she expected, especially when he becomes the key to saving her mother's business.

Colton
From the moment she showed up on my doorstep, I knew our lives would never be the same. I felt it deep in my soul that she was going to change us forever. I didn’t know how, but I knew she was important. I tried to maintain the distance between us, but it was too strong to fight.

With each passing day, I saw a future I never planned flash before my eyes—one with a fairytale ending. The only problem is that someone wanted to take that away from me, away from us. I just found her, and no way am I letting her go that easily.  Hollis is family, my family, and I’ll do whatever it takes to protect her.

Hollis
Colton Callahan wasn’t what I expected. I was in desperate need of a fresh start, ready for something new, but all it took was one look at those intoxicating blue eyes for me to reevaluate everything. I tried to stay detached, but something about him just called to me.

It took no time at all for me to fall. Not only for the man I share a living space with, but also his son, Milo. The problem is my past is not too far behind, trailing behind me and slowly catching up. When it finally does, I have a choice to make—run away, leaving them behind, or stay and fight, potentially putting them in danger. Either way, I could lose it all.

This is the third book in this series. Each one can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the others and wasn’t lost or confused at all. This book is a slow burn read. I was a little disappointed in the big secret. The secret its self but the play out of it. For me it was like nothing happened. I suppose it worked well with the rest of the book. It was just that there was so much build up to it that for me it fell flat. I loved the rest of the book so much. The characters are so great. Colton’s life completely changed just a few months ago. He is finding his way in this new normal. He doesn’t want to mess anything up for his son. Hollis is starting over in her own way. She has moved away from where she grew up and is living on her own for the first time really. Hollis and Colton have an instant connection. They both fight it as first but that doesn’t last long. The other characters that are the main ones in books one and two are still big parts of this book. I love them. I have added those books to my TBR list. I look forward to reading them when I get a chance. Great job ladies.
