Peter wanted to spill all the things the woman had done to his family, but he restrained himself. Now wasn’t the time.

“I’m exhausted. Do you mind if we call it a night? I arranged to go to work a little late in the morning, but I still don’t have much time to sleep.”

Carrie nodded her agreement, but Peter could see the disappointment in her eyes. Was she hoping to pick up where they had left off? Peter felt like a bastard for not thinking of it sooner, but right now he just wanted to sleep and put all of this out of his mind. Seeing her again had stirred up some of his more bitter feelings, and he didn’t trust himself to hold them in around Carrie.

But then she stood and put her arms around him. “You seem tense. Maybe I could help you with that?” She took his hand and led him to the guest room, then backed him against the door, where she dropped to her knees and started to unzip his pants.

“Is this OK?”

This is the second book in this series. It is a standalone read. I haven’t read the first and wasn’t confused at all. Adelaide is a relief nanny. Recently coming off a job in a not ideal way. Ash is back in town with his daughter, Maribelle. Who he just discovered was his daughter. His nanny up and left because its too quiet at night. Now he needs a new one and Addy isn’t going to miss out on this opportunity. Addy loves her small home town but like all small hometowns everyone knows everything. Addy has had her share of uncomfortable moments growing up and doesn’t want them to affect her current chance at this job. Addy and Ash also had a moment one he doesn’t even remember. But, it doesn’t matter she wasn’t his type then and she probably isn’t now. After all she isn’t some model or lawyer just a nanny. Ash just wants to get his daughter situated in school and get back to his job in New York. But then there is this nanny who doesn’t know how to follow rules or stop talking. She has certain ideas about what children need that are different than his. Then there is the way she makes him feel and things he notices about him. The last thing he needs are more headlines and bad press. Sparks fly between the two, no matter how much they fight it. This book was hilarious to read. Addy is a great nanny, she always knows just what to do or say. Things between her and Ash aren’t as easy. Then there is Addy’s archenemy her ex’s sister who is on the school board that Ash wants to send his daughter to. This book is a great funny, romantic read. I look forward to reading more books in this series in the future as well as book one in the series. Fantastic job Elizabeth.

I feel her before I see her.

I can’t explain this thing between us, why I keep showing up when she needs it most, but it’s real and I’m a slave to follow the instinct.

"Don't look now, but the guy in the dark corner wants to sample you for every meal."

I freeze. "What are you talking about? Where?"

I spin in my chair, and my heart skips several beats. Butterflies spread their wings and take off inside me, making my head spin.

"I said not to look!" Kim shrieks. I ignore her, unable to comprehend anything. Standing against the wall, intensely pinning his gaze on me, is a tall, built man. This is the first book in a new series by ML Nystrom. Iceman is known as the coldest and most ruthless biker around. His past still affects his present. Gabriella is sent to the club by her uncle. She only agrees because of something her uncle holds over her head. Ice knows right away this girl has no place around the club and that she couldn’t possibly be there without there being more to it. Something about her calls to Ice but can de dethaw his heart enough to see what he has right in front of him? Gabby is drawn to Ice as well but his actions confuse her. Her feelings surrounding him confuse him as well. Will Ice be able to figure out what he wants before its too late? There is so much going on surrounding the club and they can’t figure it all out. Gabby and Ice are fantastic characters. There is a big age gap but this isn’t a problem for either of them. Gabby helps in ways Ice never even though anyone would be able to. He childhood was beyond horrible. It seems his past isn’t done with him either. Gabby manages to give Ice a family he thought he never wanted. This book was a fantastic read. ML Nystrom has become one of my go to authors. Congrats on another fantastic book ML Nystrom. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

I've had stories in my head since I was a child.  All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest.  I'm a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it's only fitting I should write a few myself!  

I've spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn't mean I'm pigeon-holed into one mold.  I've been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring.  As one of my students said to me once, "Life's too short to ignore the opportunities."   I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world.  I hope you enjoy it!
