This is the seventeenth book in this series. I think they should be read in order. I was so excited to finally get Mammoth’s book. Mammoth is the V.P. of the club and the right hand of Grim the Prez. On the way home one day he finds a mother, Rowan and son, Jacob broke down on the side of the road. The mother is passed out and the son is special. It takes one look for Mammoth and his reaper to know these two are his. Rowen and Jacob are in on the run and in danger. Jacob is a special boy and knows things. He makes drawings to let others know what he sees. Will Mammoth be able to protect Rowan and Jacob. This book was a fantastic action packed read. I can’t wait to see how Jacob grows up and how his gift plays out. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book. I love these characters more with every book. Fantastic job Nikki.

This is the second book in the series. I think they should be read in order. Troy is the ex-husband of Emma from the first book and Lizzie is her sister. Lizzie and Troy have been dancing around each other for a while now. Lizzie has always been interested in Troy. First as a friend and then as she got older and more than a friend. Troy knew Lizzie was interested in him but he also knew she needed to live her life first. He was too old for her when she first came to him at 18. Now how long will they be able to fight what they are feeling for each other. How will Emma feel. Emma and Troy had the friendliest divorce ever but that doesn’t mean she wants him with her sister. How will TJ feel about it. His dad and his aunt, together? Then there is everyone in the small town they live in. This book was a great read. I love how Troy is grounded but Lizzie is kinda crazy. They are perfect together. They balance each other out so much. Emma just wants them both to be happy. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I am loving reading about all the different people in this small town. Fantastic job ladies.

This is the second book in this series however there is another book that you should read before this one. Off Balance is the beginning of Reaper and River/Jinx’s story. The timeline of Rattled overlaps with the first book in this series a bit. Reaper and Jinx met and are quickly forced into a difficult situation. The two are attracted to each other right away. But, their forced by their situation to move their relationship very fast. Now they are reconnecting and have secrets. Jinx thought that she had lost Reaper but he had his reasons for walking away. Now those reasons are no longer keeping him away. If anything, they are the things that have him running back to Jinx. Can Jinx give Reaper a second chance? Can she risk her heart again? Reaper knows he has to earn his second chance with Jinx. Knows that she worries he will leave again. He isn’t going anywhere ever again. He will do whatever he has to earn a second chance with her. He knows she has gone back home and that he will have to move there to have that second chance. He is going to lay everything bare to her. I am loving these characters. I can’t wait for more books in this series. E.M. Shue is a fantastic author and I love her books. Great job E.M. Shue. This is the second chapter of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC series I have read. I am love them both.
