This book had me at the blurb and didn’t disappoint. It is a
thriller for sure. Aubrey is approached one day by a man and told she has inherited
a house and more money than she will ever need. But nothing is that simple. Her
family is cursed. Lots of weird things are happening. Especially once she moves
into the house she inherited. I loved this book. I was immediately sucked in
and didn’t want to put it down. Aubrey has been so much in her life. She is
resistant to help or kindness and she has never had either. She must get to the
bottom of her family’s curse. The house is trying to tell her something. I can’t
say enough about this book. If you like thrillers than I highly recommend this
book. I look forward to more books by HR Mason.
