I take a deep breath before standing and glancing around. It feels like everything moves in slow motion. The bullets fly but I can’t hear a damn thing. One bullet rips through my side as I spin around to fire at whoever it was that shot me. Our eyes lock and just as I’m about to pull the trigger, he fires first. Each bullet hits me, knocking the air from my lungs. Pain radiates through my body as I slowly fall to the floor. The last person I see…is him.

This is the first book in this series by Erin. I have read
several of Erin’s books and enjoyed them all. Grave is left for dead. He knows
who shot him and he has a plan. What he didn’t plan for was her. When he sees a
woman shot and left. He can’t bring himself to just walk away. He doesn’t want
her to wake up alone like he did. She could be just what he needs to compete his
plan and keep him on track. When he finds out who she is he is completely
shocked but in the best way. Together they will complete his plan and get the
revenge they both want. Grave is a great characters Silla is even better.
Together they make a great couple. I did kind of feel like a was missing
something the whole book. Like there was part of the story that I hadn’t read.
Mainly between Grave and his father pertaining to the club. I can’t wait to
read about the other members of this club in the future. Great job Erin.
