Yet another fantastic read by Freya. Alex runs an animal rescue and recently moved into a bigger ranch. Jonas and his brothers in arms run a ranch just down the road as well as a company called High Mountain Trackers. They meet when Jonas’s prize stud horse gets out and hurts himself. Alex helps him recover from his injury as well as settle him some. Alex and Jonas are attracted to each other right away. But Jonas is a little rusty on his wooing skills. Things get a little exciting when Jonas and his team learn that two escaped convicts are on the loose and likely near them. Will Jonas and his team be called in to help look for them or will the authorities wait till its too late? I really loved all the characters in this series. I can’t wait to read more about them. I like that both Alex and Jonas are not spring chickens. They are both at later stage in life. Jonas is in his 50’s and Alex is in her 40’s. They are both mature and weren’t really looking for love. But love found them. I can’t suggest this book enough. Great job once again Freya.
