This is the sixth book in this series. They can be read as standalone books. I have read some but not all of them and wasn’t confused. This book doesn’t delay in starting in on the good stuff. Emme finds a baby behind the dumpster behind the restaurant where she works. Then she finds her name on a note attached to the baby. It doesn’t get better from there. Honon is called by Emme for help. The two are attracted to each other. However, both haven’t done anything about it. This situation will bring the two closer. Can Honon and the club help Emme. With a boy missing and her friend dead she will need all the help she can get. Is Emme up for the changes that are coming her way? I love this book so much. The characters are fantastic. This MC is different. They help boys who have fallen through the cracks find a way forward. Boys who would otherwise find themselves in trouble otherwise. They are a huge family and are always there for each other. No questions asked. Honon and Emme are perfect for each other. Her independence doesn’t upset him, in fact it does the opposite. Honon’s bossiness doesn’t bother Emme like it would if any other man did it. I look forward to more books in this series. Freya Barker is one of my must-read authors. Congrats on another fantastic job Freya.
