She named her cadaver dog, Emo, after all. Hell, I knew she recently moved to the area—Sloane mentioned it more than once—but I wasn’t expecting to run into her at my mother’s assisted-living home. Trackers 2nd Generation series. This book focus on Lucas Wolff, ex FBI
agent and Jillian Lederman, dog handler. Lucas left the FBI and started
working for HMT, Jillian is starting over and part of that is moving to
somewhere new with her pack of dogs. Lucas has been hasn't had any
serious relationships for a reason but Jillian get under his skin and he
can't stop thinking about him. Jillian is still haunting by the death
of someone close to her. She hasn't been interested in anyone is a long
time. But there is just something about Lucas that calls to her. When
the two are paired together to find a missing girl things get
interesting. The more time they spend around each other the harder it is
to resist when they feel for each other. While they are successful in
finding the girl things aren't done with the case. There is more going
on and it appears the girl is still in danger. Could Jillian be in
danger as well? This book was a fantastic read. I love all the
characters and can't wait to read more about them. Jillian and Lucas
just fit together. They understand each other and know when to push and
when to just be there for each other. Lucas would do anything to protect
Jillian. Fantastic job once again Freya.
