This is the third book in this series. Each one can be read
as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the others and wasn’t lost or confused
at all. This book is a slow burn read. I was a little disappointed in the big
secret. The secret its self but the play out of it. For me it was like nothing
happened. I suppose it worked well with the rest of the book. It was just that
there was so much build up to it that for me it fell flat. I loved the rest of
the book so much. The characters are so great. Colton’s life completely changed
just a few months ago. He is finding his way in this new normal. He doesn’t
want to mess anything up for his son. Hollis is starting over in her own way.
She has moved away from where she grew up and is living on her own for the first
time really. Hollis and Colton have an instant connection. They both fight it
as first but that doesn’t last long. The other characters that are the main
ones in books one and two are still big parts of this book. I love them. I have
added those books to my TBR list. I look forward to reading them when I get a
chance. Great job ladies.
