This is the first book in Janie’s new series. We are finally
getting to read Wavy and Ian’s story. I love the way this book ties this series
and the Linear Tactical series together. Ian has led a life that is kind of
lonely. Then he meets Wavy and she literally smacks into him. He things he
should stay away from her to protect her but he just can’t seem to do it. Wavy
it taken by Ian. He reminds her so much of her brother and his friends. She
understands those kinds of men. But at the same time Ian is different. He
doesn’t try to tell her what to do he just lets her be her. Then what Ian fears
most happens and Wavy is taken. Ian’s past isn’t done with him and he has to
revisit it in order to get Wavy back. This is a fantastic book. Janie is a
fantastic writer. Her characters jump of the page at you. They make you wish
you could be friends with them yourself. The story pulls you in and makes you
want more. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I am eager to see
where is new series takes us. Fantastic job Janie. I just can’t say enough
about this book or the series.
