This is the second book in this series. They can be read as standalone
books. I haven’t read the first one and wasn’t lost at all. This is the first
book I have read by Emily and really enjoyed it. I have already purchased the
first book in this series to read as well. Romeo was supposed to be the new
head of his family when his father and brother were killed instead someone else
took over and he and his brother have been assigned to working a pig farm. Gia
has had her whole life planned out. She was going to marry her best friend,
Alfonso. They were going to have kids and a marriage just like her parents. Only
things take a very different turn when Alfonso tells Gia his secret. Romeo
wants back in the life and off the stupid farm. Gia has never really been her
own person just what others expect her to be. A car accident and a bit of
amnesia will change both their lives. This book was an interesting read. Love
can come from the most unexpected places. All the characters in this book are
great. Romeo’s brother is known as the butcher. I can’t wait to read his story.
I have a feeling there is much more to him than anyone knows. Great job Emily.
