I really enjoyed this anthology. There are four books in this anthology. The St. James Inn is a central place for all the books. Each book has a bit of danger and romance. Each book sucked me in. I had only read Freya’s books prior to this anthology. I look forward to reading more by the other authors after reading their books in this anthology.
Snowbound by Freya Barker is about a woman who sees something she shouldn’t have. She does the right thing by going to the cops and is now in hiding waiting to testify. Some how the bad guys find her and she is forced to go into deeper hiding. All the while interested by one of the men protecting her. He is also the one she is protected by when she must go into deeper hiding. The interest in mutual. But her safety must come first.
Cabin Fever by Anna Bishop Barker is about a woman hiding from her ex-husband. She is just a simple waitress and she is interested in a simple bartender. Only neither one is simple. The bartender was told to protect the waitress. What has been brewing between them is just icing on the cake. He won’t let anything happen to her especially now.
Honeymoon on Ice by Taryn Bradley is about a couple who is trying to have their honeymoon for the third time. Everything is going wonderfully. Then an avalanche happens and things turn into work. Will the two along with some help be able to stop a terrorist plot?
Mistletoe Protector by Maddie Wade is about a second chance at love. Rafe is doing agrees to do a favor for a friend. Only the favor involves protecting his ex than he never really got over. Turns out she never got over him either. But has too much happened? They are about to learn that nothing is as it seems. A third party made sure things seemed like they wanted them to and manipulated them and others. Will Rafe be able to protect his ex and get the girl?
