This book is a little different than other mafia books.
Normally is all between the men. In this book it isn’t but they don’t know
that. Savio is Italian. He is sent to work with the Bratva. It was supposed to
be just a few years but things take a turn. Now eight years later he is leaving
prison and set to marry the Pakhan’s daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte wants
nothings more than to take over for her father. To be seen as an equal not some
little girl who needs to be protected and doesn’t know anything. The last thing
she wants when she is so close to getting what she wants is to be married off
to some man she doesn’t even know. Savio and Charlotte are actually perfect for
each other but neither seem to see it. Charlotte has to think of a new plan now
that she is to have a husband. Savio needs to figure out who this Charlie is
that keeps going after his boss’s business. Will he figure out who Charlie is
before its to late? Will Charlotte takes things a step to far to prove her
worth to her father? This book was fantastic. I love the characters so much.
Savio and Charlotte may not have originally chosen each other but Savio would
do anything for her. Even give her up. There are so many twists and turns in
this book. I few things I wished were different but over all I loved this book.
Fantastic job Emily. I look forward to reading more books by Emily in the
future.
