Had she known ‘doing the right thing’ would land her jobless, homeless, and snowed in with a moody bear of a man guarding her, Bobbie Strada might’ve thought twice.

Last thing US Marshall Dag Toland needed was to get stuck protecting a witness as tempting as this one. Especially when forced to share a small mountain cabin in the middle of a snowstorm.

*Short story. *Previously released in the Chill Factor anthology

This is a standalone romance. Bobbie is under US Marshall protection because she is testifying in a case. She is in a safe house with a rotation of guys who protect her. Then one night she is found by the bad guys. One of her protectors is injured and another, Dag manages to get her to safety. Dag keeps more distance the others who were protecting her. Bobbie thinks it is because he doesn’t like her but really it is the opposite. Now it is just Dag and Bobbie. He is finding it harder to fight how he feels for her. Then they get stuck in a cabin in a snow storm. Bobbie has lost everything and has no idea what her future will bring. She does wish that it included Dag. Dag is going to insure nothing happens to Bobbie. This book was previously published in the Chill Factor anthology. Another great book by Freya. I love all her books. I can’t wait for the next one. I highly recommend all of Freya’s books.
