I have read Gillian’s Pub Fiction series and loved it. I loved this book just as much. Gillian is a fantastic author. She writes books that pull you in and make
you truly feel for the characters. The
characters seem so real. You are pulling
for them. This book was different than
any romance I have read before. Trinity
Adams doesn’t have much experience in the bedroom department. She had her first real boyfriend her during
college and she was a virgin. She loved
him and she thought he loved her and maybe he did in his own way. Several years later she gets news that will
change her whole life. She doesn’t have
much family besides and her aunt, uncle, and cousins. She keeps to herself mostly. Hendrix Hills is a man who likes woman but doesn’t
do relationships. He lets the woman know
up front that he only wants sex and nothing more. That is until he sees Trinity. There is just something about her. She got underneath his skin without even
trying. In fact the only thing she was
trying to do was get away from him and the attraction to felt for him. He doesn’t give up though and wears her down
until there are at least friends. He can
work with that and hope for more.
Finally she can’t deny the way she feels for him anymore. But now she must tell him her secrets and the
reason she fought their attraction so much.
She can’t bear Hendrix seeing her any other way. How will he react when he hears her
secret? I love the characters in this
book so much. There are a bunch of
twists and turns. I totally wasn’t
prepared for the way the book ends.
Trinity is such a great girl and Hendrix comes off gruff and like an
ogre, but he has another side he shares with Trinity. Their friends and family are fantastic as
well. I can’t say enough about this book
but I don’t want to post any spoilers.
You must read this book. Great
job Gillian.
