This is the forth book in the series and I think they are better read in order. In the last book the preacher lost his wife. Things are hard for him. Taking care of his two children, their farm, and his parishioners. He needs help and doesn’t want to keep getting it from the ladies of the church. His has decided to take another wife. But not a real wife just a woman to help with the children and the house. Do the things a preacher’s wife should do to help out. Mia is best friends with Ella and things have been difficult since she moved west. She misses her friend and there isn’t anything keeping her in New York. She has decided to become a mail order bride like her friend. It is great timing because it is the same time the preacher has decided to take another wife. Mia has always wanted a family and now she will have a ready made one. Will she be able to deal with a marriage with no love and marriage of convenience? Will Caleb be able to resist Mia? This book has romance, hard ship, and is emotional. I felt for both Mia and Caleb. Caleb has a lot of guilt. Mia is determined to make this work even at the expense of her own heart. I truly enjoyed this book and the whole series really. I am excited to read the next book in this series. If you like good wholesome romances than this series is for you. There is no overt sex just kissing and holding hand and the expectation of more.
