This is the second book in the duet
and you must read them in order. This book picks up a couple weeks after the
first one ends. Emily is devastated about losing her men. Will they send for
her, will she ever see them again? Then she gets a ticket to come to them. It
isn’t what she thinks though. When she gets to Montego Bay only James is there
and he doesn’t have good news for her. Will she be able to get Xavier to come
back? What kinds of things will to participate in in order to get him to come
for her? Can she get James to let her in? There is so much about James she
doesn’t know but she wants to. Can the three of them have a lasting
relationship? I love this book. It wasn’t as angsty as the first one. I feel
for Emily she has been drawn into this by falling in love. Now she loves two
men. One who would do anything for her but be with her and one who never wants
to leave her again. There are so many things that are happening around her that
she doesn’t know about. James and Xavier rule the world behind the scenes. You
learn more about James in this book. I could relate to him more in this book. I
would love to read more about these characters in the future. I highly
recommend this series. Vanessa is one of my favorite authors. Congrats on
another great book Vanessa.
