This is the fourth book in the series but they can be read
as standalone books. I haven’t read the first two book but I have read the
third. I didn’t feel confused or anything. It just made me want to read the
first two and find out their story. Nix is a single father. He sometimes works
for the government and owns his own business. He is also has needs he sates
often with some of the mothers from the PTA. He doesn’t want anything long term.
His daughter is the only woman he needs in his life. Then he meets Payton. He is
torn she reminds him so much of his ex. She smells like her and says some of
the same things. Could he let her in? This book has some twists and turns as
well as some cry worthy moments. I loved Crash’s book and this one didn’t disappoint
either. These brothers are there for each other. They may give each other crap
but when its important they are there for each other. I look forward to reading
more about these brothers. Great job Kelly.
