This is the eighth book in this series. I haven’t read any of the others in the series and wasn’t confused at all. Each book is written by a different author as well. Audrey has lived her life by the tarot cards. They have never steered her wrong. Now she and her daughter, Love are moving to help her friend Bristol with her yoga studio. It is a small town and everyone knows everyone else’s business. It is both great and bad at the same time. The last thing Audrey wants is to find love. She has recently been burned by love. Connor is a single dad and hasn’t felt anything for a woman since his wife died in childbirth. But when he sees Audrey it is an instant connection for him. Their daughters are instantly joined at the hip. Will Audrey give Connor a shot with her? This was a wonderful short romance. The characters are wonderful. I have added the other books in this series to my TBR list and can’t wait to read them. Great job A.J.

Camryn waits for me to shed my pants. I almost trip over them, anxious and unsure. She’s getting to me. I toss them on the floor with my bag and hold out my arms.

“Tell me the damage.”

Camryn makes a slow walk around me, tapping the end of a makeup brush against her cheek.

“You smeared the color here when you put on your trunks. You should always wear them for your final day tan to avoid this.” Her hand smooths something low on my ass, and everything in my body goes warm.

My eyes blink shut, and I try to concentrate on something other than her touch. I run through my bodybuilding poses, picturing myself on the stage.

Something bonks my nose, and I open my eyes to see Camryn standing there again. “I have your back acceptable. You shouldn’t lose any points.”

Before I can even get in a thank you, the end of her brush pokes my chest. “But we have to do something about these abs. You have a light patch just below your navel in the critical area from belly button to…”

She hesitates. "Below.”

I don’t know what she was going to call it, but apparently it’s a word she doesn’t want to use around me.

I can’t stifle my grin. “You saying my happy trail is too bright?”

She rolls her eyes. “I’m saying the lack of consistent color won’t do you any favors with the judges.”

I have to pause the story here.

This book was a great read. I have read a few other books by Melissa and enjoyed them. This one was no exception. I was sucked in right from the start. Fallon has always wanted to leave she just never pictured doing it like this. Titus has no clue who this girl is. She just ran onto the road he was riding down. In fact, he almost hit her. But he can’t deny the look on her face. She needs help and he is going to help her. Neither of them could have imagined the attraction they have for each other and its not just physical either. Titus opens up a little to her, but Fallon doesn’t. She just wants to be free for a little bit, for as long as she can. How will Titus react when he learns who she is? These characters are great. Titus and Fallon save each other. They bond over their similar experiences with their families. Their relationship isn’t without its bumps in the road. Outside forces don’t want them together. I would love to read more about these characters. Great job Melissa.
