This is the eighth book in this series. I think they should
be read in order. I thought Pirate and Doc had been through stuff. Tongue has
been more. After reading this I understand Tongue so much more and why he is
the way he is. I felt for him as well. Feeling like the people who should be
there for him with no doubt don’t really know him are only want him for the
brutalness he can do. Tongue has found a girl who matches him. Daphne has her
own set of demons that she has to deal with. Somehow those demons aren’t as bad
with Tongue. There are other forces at work that want to keep them apart. Will the
club have Tongue’s back? I loved this book so much. Tongue and Daphne are fantastic
together. Their darkness’s match. The Groundskeeper does make an appearance in this
book as well. I need his whole story and hope we get that sometime. He also
needs to go. K L Savage congrats on another fantastic read. I can’t wait for
the next book. I can’t recommend this series enough. There is romance, danger,
mystery, and so much more.
