This is the fourth book in this series. They should be read in order. This is Patrick’s book. Patrick is the most outspoken of the brothers. He and his twin have always done everything together. Patrick has never been with a woman more than once. He doesn’t want a relationship he just wants to take the edge off. Things are about to change for him. He has and his twin have come to where their other brothers have settled down to help them with work. This leads him to meeting Sloane. There is just something about her that he finds himself drawn to. Sloane is a tuff take no crap bartender at the pub so co-owns with her brother. She has been burned in the past and has some issues of her own. She isn’t looking for anyone. Then Patrick shows up and keeps coming back. She can’t fight how she feels when he is around. A guy like him wouldn’t want someone like her? Patrick and Sloane may need each other more than they know. Could they help fill that part of each other that they didn’t realize was missing? I enjoyed this story. Patrick is funny and loud.  He doesn’t make apologies for who he is or how he acts. Sloane is so tough. She has a soft side as well. I love these brothers so much. They are great characters. I can’t wait to read the next book about the final brother. Great job once again ML Nystrom.

I've had stories in my head since I was a child.  All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest.  I'm a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it's only fitting I should write a few myself!  

I've spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn't mean I'm pigeon-holed into one mold.  I've been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring.  As one of my students said to me once, "Life's too short to ignore the opportunities."   I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world.  I hope you enjoy it!
