This is the third book in the series. Onyx usually works behind the scenes. But now she is going undercover for the first time. She doesn’t why Jacob has decided to it this way now but trusts he has a plan. A friend of Jacobs, Hamish is helping with her cover. Onyx is torn because she has always felt something for Jacob even though they have never met. She feels a pull towards Hamish. He seems to like her as well but keeps holding back. They are finally close to getting justice for everything they went through in that house all those years ago. But the closer they get the more secrets are revealed. Will Onyx be able to handle them? They affect her more than anyone else of the team. There are more people than they ever imagined involved in this group. This team has been through so much. If they manage to succeed in getting justice for what they went through what will they do next? They won’t be able to stop seeking justice for other children or trying to stop people like those that hurt them. Will this give them the closure they were looking for? I love this series and its characters. They have been through so much but instead of let the trauma stop them they chose to stop those that hurt them and save children. Great job Freya. I hope there are more books in this series. I look forward to reading more books by Freya in the future.
