This is the thirteenth book is this series. They are better
read in order. Bank’s lost his wife not long after their son was born. He is back
at work and needs a nanny for his son. Lamise recently lost everything. Her fiancé,
their dog, the house they lived in. She is starting over. She pops into Harper
Security Ops hoping they are hiring. She winds up with a job offer. Just not at
the security company. But as Bank’s nanny. The two quickly find that they are attracted
to each other. But they both feel guilt because not that much time has passed
since their lost their loved ones. Then there is the mystery happening in Lamise’s
life. Bank’s can see a future with Lamise and maybe more children. He won’t
lose another woman he loves. He son loves her and so does he. Will they be able
to figure out what happened to Lamise’s fiancé before it is too late? This book
was a wonderful moving read. Both Banks and Lamise have been through something horrible.
They are trying to move on with their lives. Guilt over moving on quickly is
hard. Bank’s son is so adorable. I love this series so much. I haven’t read the
whole series but close to it. I can’t wait for the next book. I love all of A.K.
Evan’s books and highly recommend them.
AUTHOR BIO
A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over forty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.
Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!
When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.
