I love D.M. Earl and was so excited to read her contribution to this anthology. Luna is a traveling nurse. She thought this would be easier for her. That she wouldn't get as attached to each child so cared for but she was wrong. Eli likes to keep is work and home life separate. The two meet when Eli's brother's family is in a car accident. His two nieces are in the hospital being cared for by Luna and his brother and sister in law have passed away. Luna finds herself drawn to this family and wants to do all she can to help them. Eli finds himself wishing he had met Luna under any other circumstances. Will the two be able to start something in the midst of all this turmoil? This book was a great read. I really enjoyed the characters. I felt for the girls and what they will have to deal with not only being hurt but losing their parents. I would love a fuller version of this story. Congrats on another wonderful story D.M. Earl.
