This is the second book in the series. They can be read as standalone
books but I think they are better read in order. Agape follows her heart and falls
in love easily. Nickolas is the opposite. He has closed his heart off. That is
until he meets Agape. Agape is taken by the man who saves her from an attack.
Only not everything is as it seems. Nick never planned on falling for her. Nick
thought he could use Agape to get info on a killer he is trying to stop. Nick
never thought he would fall for Agape. He knows that once she finds out the truth,
she will never forgive him. I enjoyed this book. However, it didn’t really pick
up till after the halfway point. The most action probably happens in the last
quarter of the book. This book is full of twists and turns. Agape is too trusting
at times. To me she puts herself in danger. I look forward to reading the next
book in the series. Great job Jayne.
