This is the third book in this series and they must be read
in order. Julia and Lachlan have decided on more than one week. Now Julia must tell
her daughter, Imogen that she is not only finally dating again but that the man
is younger than her and her favorite baseball player. Lachlan knows that Julia
wants to keep things quiet about them. Not because she doesn’t want to be out
about them but because she worries that it will get back to her crazy ex. She
doesn’t want anything to happen to Lachlan or her daughter. But she uses it as
an excuse as well. She is so afraid to love again that she doesn’t even realize
that she already loves Lachlan. Julia has been through some truly horrible
things. We learn more about what Julia truly went through in each book. Imogen remembers
things her father did as well. Julia’s ex isn’t done with her. He is still
obsessed with her and he has more games in mind. They learn that Lachlan’s
sister Claire may have been on to something and that is what got her killed.
This book once again ends on a crazy cliffhanger. I love the characters in this
series. The next book promises to be crazy. I can’t wait for it. I feel for
Julia so much. Truly moving on from the things she has been through isn’t easy.
Especially when that person is still playing their games. Fantastic job T.K.
