This is the first book I have read by Sarah. Gunner and
Freya meet 5 years ago and neither one of them has been able to forget about
the other. Now they are about to be forced together again. Their last meeting
didn’t end well. Freya is in danger because of her family ties. Gunner is going
to do his job and protect Freya even if she doesn’t want him to. They are both
attracted to each other but fight it. Now that they are forced to stay together
for Freya’s protection how long will they able to fight those feelings. Freya
has grown and changed over the years. Gunner finds this new Freya even harder
to resist. This book was a fantastic read. There is action, danger, and romance.
Freya is feisty and sweet. There is a prequel for this series. I didn’t know
about it when I read this book. But, I have it now and plan to read it. I look
forward to reading the next book in this series when it comes out. The
characters in this book are wonderful. Great job Sarah.
