Synopsis
Seth is back.

When he walked back into my life, it almost felt like the pieces of my broken heart could be fixed. I thought we could go back to being best friends, but then I started to feel what I had been blocking out for years. I tried. Boy, did I try! But once I started to let him in, I wanted nothing more than to cross that line from friendship into something more…

Just when I think I can move on and let myself be happy, an ugly reminder from my past comes storming in and threatens to destroy the sliver of hope that's been growing since Seth came back.

Do I even deserve to be loved?

“I’m not asking to fix your heart. I’m not asking to mend you. I love each and every shattered piece of you. I’m asking that you let me love you. Let me love each piece of your broken heart, and I swear to you I will make up for every heartache you have ever experienced.”

I came back for Josie.

I knew I'd have to fight for her, but with the loss of her dad and the truth about what happened with her and Blake, I quickly realized that making her mine was going to be a lot harder than I first thought. The problem is, I can’t pretend like she’s just my best friend. I can’t pretend I don’t want more.

I'm willing to do anything to get her to admit she has the same passionate feelings for me, because I know once she opens up and stops lying to herself, I can show her what it really means to be loved. It's a battle of wills, but my love for her is stronger than her will to stop me.

So I fight for her. I fight because I know she deserves it.

My review

I was given this book in return for an honest review.

This is the second book in this series.  Both books are fantastic.  This book starts right where the first one ended.   With Seth coming home when he finds out that daddy died.  Seth has come back with the intention of proving to Josie that he has never stopped loving her.  That he can be that man for her.  Josie is worried that she can’t give her whole heart to Seth, that she is too damaged from her relationship with Blake and all it complications.  Seth wants Josie anyway he can get her.  He is just as worried that he isn’t good enough for her.  Together they have something that is so fantastic if they can just open up and let themselves love each other.  They are each others soul mates, other halves, and any other way to put it.

I loved this book so much.  I am so team Seth.  He would give anything and everything to her.  Blake may have said over and over again that he wouldn’t leave her but then did anyway.  Seth only left because he loved her so much and wasn’t sure that she felt that way about him.  He left so she could be happy even if it wasn’t with him.  Then when he came back it didn’t matter how much she pushed him away or what she said to him.  He just kept coming back and trying to prove to her that he wasn’t going any where and that he loved her.  These books just suck you in.  I don’t know if I can wait for the third book to come out.  They are so emotional and intense, it’s crazy.  But you keeping coming back to find out what happens and how things turn out.  There are times when I was so sad for them.  Other times when I was screaming mad about something Blake did or something Josie did.  Other parts were crazy steamy and exciting.  I can’t say enough about this series.
