I will not be able to be a vampire again.” Leila shook her head. “I can’t let you do it.” I took a deep breath and looked into her eyes. “Leila, will you still love me if I’m human?” A look of shock flitted across her face. “Where did that come from? Yes! Of course I would still love you!” Then, she placed her hand over my heart. “Lance, I love you … who you are on the inside … and being human or vampire has nothing to do with it.” She slid onto my lap, placing her knees on either side of my body. Then, she placed her hand gently on the side of my cheek. “Lance, I will help you to become human again, if that’s what you want. But I want you to do it for the right reasons; not because of danger, or to protect us. If you do this, then do it because you want to do it for you.” I nodded then crushed my lips to hers as I wrapped my arms around her and then down to her ass, cupping it in my hands. “Leila, I don’t want to hurt you.” She smiled, placing her hand gently on the side of my face, and looked directly into my eyes. “Lance, you could never hurt me.” Then, in answer, she pressed her lips to mine again as she wrapped her arms around my neck. Without hesitation, I held her by the ass and stood up, taking her with me, while never breaking the kiss. Then, I carried her into the bedroom and set her down onto the bed. I lifted her dress over her head, exposing her voluptuous breasts, and threw it on the floor. She wasn’t wearing a bra, and I loved it. I placed my head on her chest and hugged her, breathing her in. Then, I rose up and brushed her hair away from her face. “I love you, too, no matter what.” Without another word, she crushed her lips to mine. I threw my clothes on the floor and lifted her off the bed and into my muscled arms. Then, I carried her to the chair and sat down on it, placing her on my lap. This time, I wanted to look into her eyes, to hold her to my body, and feel her close when I made love to her.
