I love this book.  The books in this series are always good.  This book is fast paced and actually has the beginnings of another story in it as well.  Doug has some personal issues and joined the team about a year ago.  He is asked to watch Gabby for a team mate who had to help someone else.  Gabby is used to being in charge.  Gabby is in trouble and needs help and that is what Doug is supposed to do.  However as soon as Doug sees Gabby he knows he is in trouble.  He wants her like he has never wanted anyone before.  However she is the sister of a team mate and Doug doesn’t think he deserves anything serious from anyone.  Things get interesting with who is after Gabby.  Gabby might not be the only person they are after, her friend maybe in trouble as well.  With some help from the other team mates will they be able to keep the girls safe and find who is after them?  Gabby and Doug have an insta kind of relationship.  Is it just because they are in a sort of bubble trying to keep her safe and find the person after her?  Can it continue in the real world once everything is taken care of?  I felt for Doug he has some self-confidence issues because of an injury sustained serving his country.  Gabby has to be in control because of something that happened in college.  Doug is a dominate will Gabby be able to be submissive to his dominance or will it cause more issues for them?  Will Doug be just what she needs?   I look forward to reading more of Screaming Mimi’s books in the future.
