This is the fourth book in this series and they need to be
read in order. I have been eagerly awaiting this book. At the end of the last
Pokey runs into Orianna in the parking lot. He was only with her that one time
in the bathroom but he wanted her before that. He knew she was the one for him.
He has been giving her the time she needed under the recommendation of the
other ole’ ladies. Only now Pokey realizes that he has a son and all the ladies
have been lying to him and keeping secrets. Pokey needs to be there for her and
his son. No matter how angry he currently is with her he still wants her to be
with him forever. Pokey is about to learn some hard truths. That the ladies
have a sisterhood just like the guys have a brotherhood. The ladies worry about
been seen differently by the men who love them and that may change how the guys
treat them. Someone is after Orianna and they need to figure out who and why. This
book has the feels, danger, and more. I love Pokey he acts like he isn’t smart
but really, he is. He is a big kid at heart. He and Orianna need to talk things
out and explain how they feel to the other. I can’t say enough about this book
or Esther’s other books. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
