This is the first book in a new spin off series of Laramie’s
MTF series. I loved it so much. The characters from the MTF are fantastic and I
was glad to get to continue reading about them with this new series. Ransom is
the first K-9 handler in Laurel Springs. He has had a crush on Stella for
years. When she is involved in a hostage situation, he doesn’t hesitate to get
her out of there. When she offers to make him dinner as a thank you, he doesn’t
waste the opportunity either. Stella has begun to see Ransom differently in the
last few months. She sees his rescuing her as an opportunity to see if there
could be something there. This is the start of something amazing for them. They
have known each other basically their whole lives. I love this couple. Really,
I love everyone in the MTF world. I can’t wait for the next book in this
series. I love getting to read about the kids of the original MTF members. I
can’t say enough about this book or any of the MTF books. I highly recommend
reading them. Congrats on another fantastic book Laramie.
