This is the first book in this spin off series. I have read
the first couple books in the series and loved them. Howler has worked hard to
cut out a place for his club in Manchester. When a woman shows up saying she is
the ex of one of his men and that their daughter is missing Howler wastes no
time in helping to get the girl back. Said girl is 26 and named Pia. Her
husband racked up debt and then left her to be taken as payment for said debt.
As soon as Howler sees her, he knows that he wants her even though he
shouldn’t. She is a brother’s daughter and she has just been through something
horrible. Howler knows just what to do though. Pia should be scared of these
guys after what she has been through. But there is just something about Howler
that makes her feel safe and she needs that. Pia is confused about why these
guys came to her rescue. What are they going to want as payment for helping her
and her mother? I loved this book and was sucked right in right away. I read
the book all at once. I can’t wait to read the next book. As well as the rest
of the books in the original series. Fantastic job Jessica.
