This is the fourth book in the series. They can be read as
standalone books. I have read all the books but Terror, (book #3). Brewer spent
many years in jail for letting his anger get the best of him. While there he
meets another inmate’s daughter. Now he has been out a few years and that
inmate is calling in a favor he is owed. Brewer and Ophelia have been
interested in each other since he was in prison but she can do better than him.
Now that he is tasked with protecting her, he won’t let her go. Not that she
really wants to be free of him. She is in way more trouble than they could have
imagined because of her father. The club is all in for helping Ophelia. Its not
just about helping her. These men after her shouldn’t have done what they did
on Untamed Sons protected area. Brewer and Ophelia are great together. There is
a bit of angst to why he didn’t try to find her after he got out. This book
does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, more of a soft ending. I can’t wait for the
next book. Fantastic job Jessica. I love this series. The characters have been
through some rough stuff even the ladies. But they are always willing to face
more danger to help someone in the club.
