This is the third book in this series and they must be read in order to understand what is happening. Susan Scott just wanted to start over and for her mother and brother to be safe. She thought she was going to get that but now her worst nightmare is happening. She calls the only person she can trust their lives with, Detective Dominick Antonelli. Dominick hasn't been able to stop thinking about Susan since he left her start her life over. Now he must protect again but this time he doesn't want to leave when the job is done. Dalton has found a way to get out of jail. Everyone is in danger. Not just Susan. Dalton wants revenge on Susan for helping the police. He wants to mess with Gideon again by taking who he cares most about. Finally he wants to get Ellora for himself once and for all. Will Dalton let his greed and vengeance blind him from seeing what is right in front of him or will he get everything he wants? I really liked this book. You get to read about the characters in both previous books in this one. There is lots of suspense, mystery, and danger as well as romance. Dalton is a monster and there is only way he will stop and that's when he dies. Susan is young but she has been through so much and has so much responsibility. Dominick thinks he is too old for her but his feelings for her are so strong that age won't stop them for long. Ellora and Bear are going to get married soon and are so in love. Gideon is working through his issues and has found a person he couldn't live with out. This book is fantastic and I highly recommend it and the series. I hope to get to read more about the characters in the future.

Jesse Lorenzo (formerly Lady J) is a romantic suspense writer and author of The Marked Series. Her debut novel, Forever Marked, released in August of 2015 and the rest is history.
