My Review
This is the first book by Lauren I have read and I really enjoyed
it. This book is emotional so if you are an easy crier have some tissues handy.
Mackenzie has had a crush on her best friend’s older brother, Connor for a long
time and now she is going to take a chance, her last chance and having
something with him. Connor doesn’t want a girlfriend. He has been burned by
love and doesn’t want to take that chance again. Once Mackenzie takes her
chance with Connor he begins to see her as the woman she is and not just his
little sisters friend. She is different than any woman before. It its just
about lust and sex. He knows understands why couples hold hands and kiss so
much. He just wants to be around her even if they are just watching tv or
listening to music together. But life has other plans for them. This book has
one hell of a curve ball. It has a beautiful sad ending but I loved it. I look
forward to reading other books by Lauren in the future.

find her listening to music, at her local CrossFit, reading, or at the baseball
field with her boys. Her only vice is coffee, and she swears it makes her a
