This the first book by Yolanda that I have read. I will that
I felt confused for most of this book. This is a dark taboo romance. I am not
completely sure how I feel about some aspects of this book. Maisie and Elijah
are traveling together. Maisie has secrets and wants to get closure before
telling them to Elijah. Elijah hears and sees things that aren’t there. Maisie
has a darkness in her as well. She went through horrible things are a young
girl. Things aren’t much better now. Maisie and Elijah have a taboo
relationship. They are in love. They aren’t concerned with whether anyone else
thinks its right or wrong. Elijah is the only person who hasn’t hurt Maisie. I
believe there will be another book that connects to this one and finishes it
up. Great job Yolanda.
