This is the sixth book in this series. They are better read
in order. Shadow and Serenity had one night together. Serenity was sure that
this would lead to more but it didn’t. Now five years later things are about to
change. Serenity is attacked by people who want money from her ex. This in the
thing that changes things from Shadow. It wasn’t that he didn’t want everything
with Serenity but that he felt she deserved someone better than him. He isn’t
going to waste this second chance. He is finally ready to believe what everyone
has been telling him and move forward. Serenity isn’t sure if she should take a
chance with Shadow at first. But actions are more powerful than words. He has
been showing her that is serious about her. They will work together. Shadow still
needs to completely close the door on his past. Serenity is more than happy to
help him do that. Will the Fury Vipers be able to figure out who is after
Serenity and protect her. I am loving this series more and more with each book.
I can’t get enough of the characters in this series. The woman is this series
are so powerful and strong. These men will do anything to protect them but they
don’t stunt them either. The work side by side. I can’t recommend this series enough.
