This is the first book in a new series by Abbie. Once again, she takes us on a thrilling mystery with a touch of physic abilities. Cain is the son and a serial killer, Killion. He had a horrible childhood. Killion tortured him just as much as his victims. He has an ability to see what the killer did through the blood of the victims. He carries a terrible sense of guilt related to what Killion did and how much he looks like his Killion. Mercy is the only person who survived an attack from Killion. The two are connected because of Killion. Now they are meeting each other for the first time. Things are difficult to say the least. They instantly feel a strong connection but at the same time they both think they need to get away from each other for different reasons. Cain because how could Mercy ever want to be with the man who looks just the person who killed her family and almost killed her. Mercy because everyone who gets close to her is killed. The story gets more interested and twisted as it continues. The two are more connected than they knew. Killion has more secrets than anyone ever knew. People all over wiling to help him. Killion is so charming and nice or at least that is what he making everyone believe. He has used that charm to get what he wants. No one is safe while Killion is around. I couldn’t get enough of this book. The characters are wonderful. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Abbie is wonderful character.
