This is the eleventh book in the series. They can be read as
standalone books. I haven’t read all of them and I am not confused at all. Sophie
lost her father and inherited everything. He loved his cars and she does her
best to what he would with them. Taking them to car shows, driving them like he
always did, parking them the way he did. One day he most prized car is stolen.
This leads her to Jax. She hires him to find the car. They are both instantly attracted
to each other but both believe the other wouldn’t be interested in them. They
are opposites. Sophie has a hard time dating because of her wealth. Guys feel
like she won’t need them or that she will expect too much/high maintenance. Really,
she is down to earth and very low maintenance. Jax is an easy-going guy but he
figures he would need to prove he is worth her time. They dance around each
other for a while. Neither are very good at picking up clues especially Jax. Once
they take the leap, they are excellent together and all in. But the people who
stole Sophie’s cars aren’t done. They want those cars and will do whatever it
takes to have them. Even taking Sophie as well. Will Jax be able to save Sophie
and get her cars back a second time. While this book was a great read. I didn’t
enjoy it as much as other books in the series. The characters are wonderful. I
look forward to reading the next book in the series. The ones I haven’t read
are on the TBR list. Congrats on another wonderful book A.K. Evans.

A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over forty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.
Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!
When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.
