When you're in the business of death, things are pretty, well, dead. Even with a motorcycle club hanging around these days, things are pretty chill or least they were until Rocco Franks walked through the doors of Brooks Mortuary and Cremation.
This is the ninth book in this series. The series is part of the Royal Bastards MC collection. This book is a bit of a spin off. It is about Dorothy, Imogen’s best friend and coworker at the funeral and their new boss. Imogen and Dorothy’s boss died and his nephew, Rocco will be taking over. However, neither Rocco or the girl’s were expecting the other party to be so young. A pleasant surprise to say the least. Dorothy and Rocco are interested in each other but maintain professional boundaries. Well, that is until Imogene goes on vacation and things get busy at work thanks so Rocco and the Q word. Rocco decides he is willing to take a chance that they could have something great between them. Will Dorothy feel the same? Then they mystery begins when Dorothy begins finding dead animals all over. Her house, Rocco’s house, and the funeral home. Who could it be? This book was a great read. Had me laughing so much. Dorothy is a fantastic character and Rocco is her perfect match. He fits in with the guys in the club perfectly. Will they be able to figure out who is behind the dead animals before its to late? I think this is the end of this series but hopefully I am wrong. I would love to read more about this club. Winter has done a fantastic job with this series. I highly recommend you read it.
