Falling Back Together (Crashing, #2)Falling Back Together by Kristen Hope Mazzola
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book picks up right where the first one left off. Mags found Walker’s journal and freaked out. She had a super bad panic attack. Walker to her to the hospital called her mom and Cali then left. When Mags wakes up several days later not knowing where she is or how she got right away. Then everything comes crashing back. When they get back to her house they find the mess from her panic attack and all the daisies are dead. Mags, Cali, and Mitch decided to go to Cali’s house and see what happened with Kyle there. When they get there Kyle has destroyed her house. He is there and there is a fight. Mitch calls the cops and the girls are alright but they will be staying at Mitch’s house for a bit with him and his dad. No one has heard from Walker since he dropped Mags off at the hospital. Mags is left with all these emotions. She is mad at Walker for his part in her husband’s death, mad that he was planning on killing himself, mad that she still loves him, mad that he left her, and finally the feeling that she just wants him there holding her. Walker has gone back to his family in Georgia. It’s the last place he ever wanted to go back to. He hates his family and everything about them. But after what he has done to Mags it is what he feels he deserves. Mags has a dream and in the dream Randy comes to her and tells her to let him go and that it is okay to love again, its okay to love and understand. Mags wants answers so she decides she is going to track down Walker and get some. She finds out his parents last name from Mitch and searches for info on them. When she finds there address she gets in her car to go see if that is where Walker is. She stops at a gas station to fill up and finds him there working at the station. She isn’t prepared for how Walker responds when she asks him why he left. Every emotion one person can have passes over Walker face in an instant. He tells he wanted to tell her right away. That it should be him dead and not Randy. How sorry he is. Mags knows all this but what is she supposed to do Forgive, say its okay, love him again? She still has all these feelings that she isn’t sure how to sort out. Can she be with Walker again? Does he still want to be with her, and if he does then why did he run instead of staying and helping her through it?

I love this book just as much if not more than the first. It was an emotional roller coaster again but that is part of what makes it a great book. All the feelings Mags has are conflicting and make her hurt and feel crazy. Then you have everyone else’s feeling about what happen. She desperately wants Walker to be there and hold through the pain but then she feels immensely guilty and mad at him for having to deal with any of these feelings in the first place. Then you have Walker. He feels like he doesn’t deserve Mags because he was the one who caused her to lose her husband in the first place and that he should have died instead of him. But again all he wants is to go back to Mags and love her again. He hates his family but is with them because that’s what he feels he deserve right now. Walker and Mags have an epic love story and I loved every minute of this book. It was a wonderful emotional roller coaster. All the characters suck you in. I love this author.

I was given this book as a gift in return for an honest review.
