He's No Saint by A.J. Harmon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book is about Father Hugh and Sister Meredith. Both ran to the church to escape a past they couldn’t really deal with. They just didn’t realize it at the time. Father Hugh has been a priest for some time and Sister Meredith also. When Sister Meredith transferred transfers to the church where Father Hugh is the priest she is attracted to him right away. She doesn’t want to feel these things but she does, it starts her thinking about things. Father Hugh loves being a priest but he joined because something tragic happened to him and that was his way of coping. His carnal desires stop him from fully committing though. His real name is Tyler Oswin. Sister Meredith’s real name is Amy Lansing. Her father died when she was young and her mother couldn’t quite deal with it and tried to find love with someone else. Amy was left much to herself because of this. Both Amy and Tyler have to deal with their pasts before they can find a future with each other. Finding that future together maybe more difficult then they expected. How Tyler deals with his carnal desires isn’t helping the situation.
I loved this book right away. It was just the right amount of steamy considering it was about a priest and a nun falling in love. The story is fantastic. Their pasts hold horrible things which lead them to find a sort of peace in the church. But, when they met each other they realize that isn’t enough anymore. They want each other they just have to figure out how to make it work. Tyler’s extra curricular cause trouble he could never have seen coming. They get in the way with Amy and he doesn’t realize it until it’s too late. I totally didn’t see the ending of the book coming at all. It came out of total left field but it made the book that much more fantastic.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.
