When the bad boy son of the United States president sets his sights on Eden Warren, she is not impressed. The first son is dubbed "First Disaster" by the public for his questionable antics and Eden has no intention of becoming his latest conquest. What could this former playboy do to convince Eden that he has truly changed his ways, especially when she discovers he's hiding a government-protected secret that could permanently alter the course of life on Earth?
My Review
Eden was just a normal girl nothing special really. Her mom got a great new job so they moved to
D.C. and she was going to go to school at the school her mom got a new job
at. She was worried about starting over
and didn’t really want to leave her best friend. Her friend was very encouraging telling her
everything was going to be fine. Plus
she was going to get to go to school with the first son Andrew Wellington. She talked about how hot he was and that
maybe Eden should try and snag him. Eden
wasn’t concerned about Andrew. After he
had a horrible reputation for being a playboy and she didn’t want any part of
being his next conquest. Eden had no
idea just how HOT Andrew was and of course he was in her very first class of
the day and sat right behind her. Andrew
liked Eden from the minute he saw her.
However she wasn’t interested in him.
When he talked to her he told her that he wasn’t the same boy anymore
and that he had changed. She didn’t seem
convinced so he told her that he was going to prove it to her. And that is exactly what he did. Eden couldn’t figure out what Andrew saw in
her, so was just a plain girl nothing special.
He could have anyone he wanted so why did he choose her. When she finally gave into her feeling for
Andrew she learned something that she wasn’t prepared to learn. A six mile wide asteroid was going to hit the
earth and cause damage and death. The
world had heard of this asteroid and told that is wasn’t going to collide with
earth but just go by it. Now that Eden
knows differently what will she do? Eden
and her mother where brought to D.C. by fate or at least that is what Andrew
and his Father say, Will she stay with
Andrew or not want anything to do with him because he know this whole
time? What will happen to the world?
I really liked this book.
Andrew worked so hard to prove to Eden that he was no longer the boy the
tabloids made him out to be. He was like
that in the past but has been trying to change.
For the chance to be with Eden he will do everything in his power to
prove and changed and never fall back into his old ways. Eden isn’t all that confident and is always
worried that Andrew will realize he can do better or that she isn’t special
enough for him and leave her. She is
worried about getting her heart broken.
Once she gets to know Andrew though she realizes that she was completely
wrong about him. He may have been that
party play boy once but that is not her Andrew at all. They have their fair share of problems as any
characters or real people have. A couple
times I wasn’t sure if they would continue to be a couple or not. I cannot wait to find out what happens next for
them and the world. This book was very
well written with great characters. Eden’s
mom was funny and they had a great relationship. Eden goes through a lot emotionally throughout
the book and learns just how strong she truly is and what she is willing to do
for the people she loves. Andrew also
learns a lot about himself as well as some of the things his father has to do
and go through as the president of the United States. I look forward to learning more about the
characters and what they go through next.
