Trust by Michelle Lowhorn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was great. I love all Michelle's books and this one was no different. Sophia is the daughter of the Secretary of Defense at the pentagon. She has gone to Central America to help build a school so that child who would have never had a chance at an education otherwise could get one. She knows that danger that she could face but she needs to feel like she is making a difference in the world. Mack and her father grew up together and had a falling out when Mack left the military to become a mercenary. Her father calls Mack when Sophia is taken by rebels. Mack doesn't hesitate to help his old friend. He goes to rescue Sophia with out a second thought. He couldn't imagine leaving her safety to anyone else. He never imagined how protective and attracted he would be of Sophia till he finds her naked tied to a chair in a tent. To Sophia Mack has always been a hero and now more than ever she knows its true. They are both attracted to each other however Mack doesn't want to go there. How could Sophia love a man like him who has done the things he has done? Will Sophia be able to make him see that he is lovable that she loves him and not just because he rescued her? This book has romance, danger, and some scandal. Michelle is a fantastic author. I love all the books she writes and can't wait for the next one she writes. Her stories pull you in and the characters are great. Great job Michelle.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.
