My Review of Unthinkable (Beyond Human #1) by Nina Croft

Unthinkable (Beyond Human, #1)Unthinkable by Nina Croft
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read by Nina and I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the next one. This book has intrigue, romance, danger, and more. Jake Callahan is the leader of group called the Tribe. The members of the Tribe have special physic gifts and they are discovering new ones as they go. They used to work with the government and always considered themselves the good guys but things are changing. After learning things weren’t as they thought they were. He and his group are trying to figure the truth out and remain the good guys. Christa Winters is the daughter of the man the Tribe worked for with the government. She is a scientist and a total geek. She has no clue why Jake and his group want her. But as they both soon find out they are more connected than they either knew. Christa didn’t know about their abilities in the beginning. People all around them are dying and danger is around every corner. Someone is out the silence the Tribe and anyone who knows about them. Will they be able to figure things out before it’s too late? Jake feels like it’s his responsible to take care of everyone in the Tribe because he is the oldest. He has a lot of guilt over things that have happened to members of the Tribe. Christa is attracted to bad boys but is always to consumed with her research to really bother with men. While all the members of the Tribe can communicate psychically the abilities range in strength and some can do different things. This book takes the reader on an amazing journey. I didn’t want to put the book down once I started reading. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed a bit of paranormal and some mystery. I am chomping at the bit for the next book in this series. Fantastic job Nina Croft.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
