Moments.
Our lives are a collection of moments. Some utterly painful and full of yesterday's hurts. Some beautifully hopeful and full of tomorrow's promises.
I’ve had many moments in my lifetime, moments that changed me, challenged me. Moments that scared me and engulfed me. However, the biggest ones—the most heartbreaking and breathtaking ones—all included him.
I was ten years old when I lost my voice. A piece of me was stolen away, and the only person who could truly hear my silence was Brooks Griffin. He was the light during my dark days, the promise of tomorrow, until tragedy found him. Tragedy that eventually drowned him in a sea of memories.
This is the story of a boy and girl who loved each other, but didn’t love themselves. A story of life and death. Of love and broken promises.
Of moments.
(Book Three in the Elements Series. Complete Standalone.)

This is the first book I have read by Brittainy and I
absolutely loved it. It is the third book in this series however it can
be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first two however after
reading this they are now on my TBR. This book was a fantastic emotional
rollercoaster ride. Maggie May went
through something tragic and she lost her voice because of it. Her whole life is changed in one
instant. Brooks Griffin hears Maggie
even though she no longer speaks. He
gets her in a way no one else does or ever will. Brooks and Maggie have a love like no
other. He is her anchor in the storm and
she is his whole world. This book is
about a person’s dark times and those who will do anything for them in both the
light and the dark times. This book
moved me like few others have. Both
Brooks and Maggie have been through some tuff times but they are always there
for each other. I really ever cry and
this book had me crying several times.
This book is heart breaking, wonderfully romantic, and so many other
things that I can’t put into words. I can’t
even completely think of a way to explain how much I love this book. So much happens and not to just Maggie and
Brooks but the other characters in the book as well. Maggie’s parents have their own story as well
and how what happened to her affected them individually and as a coupe. So many people blame themselves for what
happened to Maggie when it was no one’s fault really. It just happened. But fear not there is light at the end of the
tunnel. If Brittainy’s other books are
anything like this one she is a fantastic author. I look forward to finding out if it is true
or not.

Brittainy Cherry has been in love with words since the day she took her first breath. She graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing. She loves to take part in writing screenplays, acting, and dancing--poorly of course. Coffee, chai tea, and wine are three things that she thinks every person should partake in! Brittainy lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her family. When she's not running a million errands and crafting stories, she's probably playing with her adorable pets.
