This is the twelfth book in this series however each book can be read as a standalone book. This book was great. I was sucked in right from the start. This book was one of my favorite Misadventure books so far. It’s a great sexy book. It has some angst. A twist at the end that’s emotional. Sometimes the thing we are least looking for comes and sneaks up on us and then we can’t live without it. I love Jackson. He thinks he knows exactly what he wants from life and that he has it. Then he meets Piper. Piper is trying to start fresh. She is trying to get over an ex. She is shy and super organized. Jackson brings out a totally different side of her that she didn’t even know existed. I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Misadventure Series. I also look forward to reading more books by Kendall Ryan.

This is book one in a duet so it does end on a cliff hanger. So, if those aren’t your thing then you probably won’t want to read this book. However, you will totally be missing out on a great book. This book is so great. Its moving, emotional, and so much more. Faith didn’t have a great childhood and then she got put in foster care at 12. Things didn’t get better after that in fact they got worse. She finds herself being forced to face that fact that she may die while is a senior in high school. When she finds out that she won’t she decides that she is going to make the best of her second chance and she does. Faith has trouble believing things are as good as they are. She is usually waiting for the other shoe to drop. Its all she has known her whole life. Faith is a fantastic character. This book sucked me in as soon as I started reading. I can’t wait to read the second book in this series. I have feeling that things aren’t going to be as bad as Faith imagines they will be. But will she push those close to her away before they can push her away. I can’t say enough about this book. Congrats Rochelle on a fantastic book.
