This is the eighth book in this series. I have only read the
book before this one not any of the others. I wasn’t lost at all. The books are
loosely connected. Luna has led a horrible life. She was torn from her family
and sold by a priest. She has trained to be a killer. She isn’t supposed to
remember what happens between missions but she does. She is formulating a way
out. Meeting Dario is the final straw. Dario doesn’t care what she has done in
the past only that she will be his future. Luna will do whatever she has to in
order to protect Dario. This book was a great read. Action packed right from
the start. I felt for Luna. Saying her life has been hard is a huge
understatement. Dario’s father wants him to follow in the family business but
he doesn’t want to. He will do whatever is needed to protect Luna and give her
the life she deserves. I have put the other books from the series on my TBR
list and have a few of them ready to be read. Fantastic job E.M. Shue I look
forward to more books in this series.
